Covert Operations Group handles all of the traditional "spy" type activities for the Para-Human Operations Division of the NSA. Due to the delicate nature of intelligence agencies the NSA tries to limit it's operations to those which deal with paranormal threats and the actions of Ultra-Terrorist Groups.

Covert Ops has many field agents who collect information and intelligence, investigate and pursue ultra-terrorist personnel, as well as handle investigations for the whole of Para-Human Ops.

Agents tend to be well trained in espionage techniques and versed in a wide variety of combat skills. Field agents usually only work in the field for 5 to 7 years before they become too well known to be effective. These agents tend to move on to teaching positions in the various espionage training programs or administrative positions in the NSA.
